Grade 1 Science includes (25) lessons introducing students to fundamental core knowledge in chemistry, biology, physics, astronomy, and geology. Students are exposed to real science terms and concepts including atoms, molecules, force, energy, cells, rocks, moon, sun, and stars. Students learn the RATATAZ method by reading, asking and answering their own questions, performing hands-on experiments, and how to share what they have learned with others. The Teacher’s manual includes step-by-step instructions, and suggestions for facilitating the question focused activities.
Grade 1 Science meet and exceed NGSS, TEKS, and other state standards.
